Tuning your guitar
To tune your guitar with this online tuner, here's what to do:
- Using this tuner, click start
- Click on "allow dacapoalcoda.com to use your microphone ".
- Select the reference LA (440Hz, or generally 442Hz)
- Play the string you want to tune with the bow
- Check the accuracy of the tuning:

The cursor is in the middle: you're perfectly in tune!

The cursor is to the left: you're too low, tighten the string by turning the pegs.

The cursor is to the right: you're too high, loosen the string by turning the pegs.
It's preferable to start with the highest string, the high E:

Tuning the high E string (E4): the horizontal cursor should be in the center; tighten the tuning key if the note is too low or loosen the tuning key if your note is too high. The E string should turn violet (in the tuner, not on the guitar, or it's on fire )

Tuning the B string (B3), tighten the tuning key if the note is too low or loosen the tuning key if your note is too high. The A string should turn violet.

Tuning the G string (G3), tighten the tuning key if the note is too low or loosen the tuning key if your note is too high. The D string should turn violet.

Tuning the D string (D3), tighten the tuning key if the note is too low or loosen the tuning key if your note is too high. The G string should turn violet.

Tuning the A string (A2), tighten the tuning key if the note is too low or loosen the tuning key if your note is too high. The B string should turn violet.

Tuning the low E string (E2), tighten the tuning key if the note is too low or loosen the tuning key if your note is too high. The E string should turn violet.
After tuning each string individually, it's important to briefly recheck the tuning of all six strings on the guitar.
